Board Overview
The Plan Commission is established by State Statutes 62.23 and its members are appointed by the Village President subject to confirmation by the Village Board. The Village President serves as the Chairperson for the commission along with two Village Trustees, and four residents.
Each elected official is appointed annually, and the residents serve terms that are staggered for three years. The Village Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer also serves as the Zoning Administrator for the Village and is an ex-officio member of the Plan Commission. The Plan Commission performs a wide variety of services for the Village related to zoning, community development, general planning, and land use development type issues.
