Officer Matthew Hudson began working as a Patrol Officer for the Village of Cross Plains in 2022. Officer Hudson graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from UW-Platteville and spent years working in another field before pursuing his dream of becoming a Police Officer. He began his law enforcement career in 2021 working for the Wisconsin Dells Police Department.
Officer Hudson has a passion for learning and enjoys helping the community. He is also a volunteer fire fighter, certified rescue diver and swift water rescue technician. He looks forward to continuing to grow his skills for the Village's needs.
In his spare time, Officer Hudson enjoys a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities, if he can include his friends or dogs! When he's not working you might find him hiking a local Ice Age Trail segment or in a State Park.
