Drug Take Back Days
Twice a year the Cross Plains Police Department, in conjunction with hundreds of agencies throughout the United States, sponsors a prescription drug take back day. This allows people to safely and securely dispose of unwanted/expired prescription drugs. With prescription drug abuse continually on the rise, the take back day is a way to rid medicine cabinets of unwanted pills. There is also an environmental benefit as drugs collected are kept from being flushed into our sewer system or buried in our landfills
If you have questions about either of these programs, please give us a call at 608-798-4100.
