Officer Nicole Kimball
Officer Nicole (Nikki) Kimball began her tenure with the Cross Plains Police Department in 2018 and is currently assigned as a Patrol Officer. She is a 2015 graduate of Fox Valley Technical College, where she earned her Associate's Degree and graduated with honors. She hopes to go back one day to school for her bachelor's degree.
Upon graduation from Fox Valley Technical College, Officer Kimball worked in the Western Region Adolescent Shelter Unity and was quickly promoted to the La Crosse County Juvenile Detention Center where she worked as a Juvenile Corrections Officer for over two years. Officer Kimball pursued the policing field with a desire to continue fostering positive relationships between the public and the police department.
Officer Kimball's responsibilities include coordinating our community's National Night Out event, Coffee With A Cop, and Shop With A Cop. Officer Kimball is a member of the Wisconsin Association of Women Police and helps teach a women's self-defense course here in the Village. An interesting fact about Officer Kimball is that she likes to bake and has done the cake/cupcakes for multiple different weddings, graduations and parties.
Officer Kimball was born in South Dakota and relocated to La Crosse, Wisconsin at an early age, where she grew up. Outside of work, Officer Kimball enjoys giving back to the community. When she was younger, she participated in five mission trips with her church as well as volunteering with the La Crosse County Sheriff's Office in their alcohol compliance check program. In addition to volunteering, Officer Kimball enjoys being outdoors, spending time with family and friends and physical fitness.
