If you received an Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) citation in Cross Plains, you will be assigned an Initial Appearance court date.
If you are found guilty of the OWI:
Your operating privileges will be revoked
You will be required to submit to an OWI assessment and Driver Safety Plan (DSP)
If your blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was at or above 0.15, or if you refused a chemical test, you will be restricted to operation of a vehicle with an Ignition Interlock Device (IID)
Trial by jury
For OWI matters, you are entitled to a trial by jury only if a written demand is made within the time limits prescribed by law and only if the written demand is accompanied by the required statutory fees. If you desire a trial by jury, it is suggested that you consult your attorney for the proper procedures.
